The I-5 trap: California wine country is 101, not I-5. Thousand Trails Southwest CA parks are scattered; most are not on this interstate. A Redding–San Diego run does not pass Russian River, Morgan Hill, or Palm Springs. Trails Collection CA parks are an add-on — not this pass. Some Collection parks charge $20/night. 14/7 is out of the whole system, not out of one park.

The valley slog is Passport America if you need dump and power. Classic is one night at a small business — only if you leave I-5. +BW is someone’s land, not a tasting room. Neither is a campground. Campendium owns the dump-station list; this page is which club changes the overnight math.
Thousand Trails Southwest is not a “drive I-5 for free” pass. Buy it only if you will sit a verified I-5-adjacent park 30+ nights under 14/7. Extra region $140. The pass also covers Arizona, Nevada, and Colorado. It is not a substitute for 101 wine nights. East of LA: I-10 is desert snowbird parks, not a free TT tunnel.
