Campground partners sit on every plan. Escapees is a club/mail/community perk, not extra harvest nights. People overbuy All Access because the plans page stamps it “Best Deal.”

Who should buy which

Classic — $99 Weekend or seasonal trip, self-contained, happy to buy a bottle or a jar. You do not need a stranger’s driveway.

+ Boondockers Welcome — $169 You dry-camp well and want a booked private spot. BW is someone’s property, not a tasting room — no purchase expected. Different etiquette.

All Access — $179 You are already buying +BW, and you will use golf overnights or Escapees. The $10 is those two things.

Skip All Access You do not golf and you do not want Escapees. Same ~6,000 farms as Classic. Same ~3,300 driveways as +BW.

Skip Harvest Hosts entirely Tent, rooftop tent, car, or no interior toilet and waste tanks. Buy a campground night instead. See Passport America / Thousand Trails.

Rules on every plan

Self-contained only. Interior toilet and onboard waste tanks. Tents, cars, and rooftop tents are out. Cooking and dumping happen inside; outdoor cooking on host property is not allowed.

Stay length. Standard stay is one night, no camping fee. Hosts make money when you buy something; Harvest Hosts says they take no cut. Some hosts allow extra nights (plans FAQ: up to four total; how-it-works: up to four extra, often for a fee). Boondockers Welcome support: 1–5 nights at the host’s preference.

Term. 365 days from the join date. Happy Camper refund: 3 months.
