The I-5 trap: Thousand Trails Northwest Oregon parks are on the coast, not on the interstate. Official region list, Aug 30, 2026: Pacific City (Cloverdale), South Jetty (Florence), Whalers Rest (South Beach). A Portland–Ashland run does not pass them. Trails Collection lists Portland Fairview and Mt Hood Village as add-ons — not this pass. Some Collection parks charge $20/night. 14/7 is out of the whole system, not out of one park.
Willamette / I-5 is Harvest Hosts plus, if you need dump and power, Passport America. Classic is one night at a small business; hosts make money when you buy something. +BW is someone’s land, not a tasting room. Neither is a campground. Campendium owns the dump-station list; this page is which club changes the overnight math.
Thousand Trails only if you will actually leave I-5 for the Oregon Coast and sit 30+ nights under 14/7. The Northwest pass also covers Washington and British Columbia. Extra region $140. It is not a substitute for farm nights on the valley floor. South of the line: I-5 California is Central Valley miles, not wine-country Harvest Hosts.
